RAW is the first work I painted in my new studio, The North Loft. It emerged after a year of change, relocation, and uncertainty, marking the beginning of a new chapter in which I no longer felt the need to contain, soften, or explain anything.

In this painting, the gesture appears in its most direct form. Layers, marks, tension, movement, and material coexist without striving for perfection. The work holds the energy of something still open, something not yet polished, controlled, or domesticated.

RAW is about returning to the source. It is about entering a new space and painting from a place that feels more instinctive, honest, and free. It represents not only the beginning of a new body of work, but also the feeling of finally finding a place of my own from which to begin again.
